Dep de kikkererwten goed droog met een schone theedoek. Meng in een kom de olijfolie, komijnpoeder, paprikapoeder, peper en zout. Verdeel over een bakplaat met bakpapier en rooster 25\u201330 minuten tot knapperig. Schud halverwege om.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verhit de olijfolie in een soeppan op middelhoog vuur. Voeg de knoflook toe en bak 1 minuut tot het geurt. Voeg dan paprikapoeder, rozemarijn, tijm, chilivlokken en wat zwarte peper toe en roer kort door.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voeg de uitgelekte kikkererwten, de blokjes wortel en de groentebouillon toe. Roer goed door.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breng aan de kook, zet het vuur dan lager en laat 25 minuten zachtjes pruttelen met het deksel schuin op de pan. Roer af en toe goed door. Pureer de soep met een staafmixer of in een blender glad en romig.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proef en breng op smaak met zout en extra peper. Voeg eventueel nog een scheutje water of bouillon toe als je een dunnere soep wilt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schep de soep in kommen, garneer met een handje geroosterde kikkererwten en een klein scheutje olijfolie.
